A synopsis:

This exquisitely-crafted portrait of 75-year old Marita and her granddaughter, six-year old Marina, is among this year's most unique visual experiences. Lovely, bright, textured, the film takes us to a small town on the Mediterranean coast of Spain where Marita and Marina are struggling to maintain equilibrium amidst unexpected changes. The filmmaker has taken a familiar cross-generational story about family, tradition and home and made it radiate with a new documentary vision.

(Check 'the news' for a cute little animated conversation between Marina and Marita [REL] La Casa de mi abuela (2005) [Spain] (9) )

Unfortunantly no news on a DVD release nor can I find a new link in the p2p stream...

kev.
